The very much anticipated Apple Tablet has got announced at the Apple press event now called the Apple iPad. The Apple iPad feels like a large iPhone in your hands. It comes with a screen that is 9.7 inch diagonal LED backlit glossy widescreen capacitive multi-touch display and boasts resolution of 1024 x 768 with IPS technology support.
Dimensions and weight – The iPad measures 9.56 inches tall by 7.47 inches wide by 0.5 inches thick. The WiFi model weights only 1.5 pounds while the WiFi + 3G model weights 1.6 pounds.
Availability and pricing – The WiFi only model will be shipped first in March. And three versions are a 16GB ($499), a 32GB iPad ($599) and a 64GB iPad ($699).
